Kenya Premier League side Sony Sugar have vowed to fend off interests from rival teams for their stars during the December-January transfer window.
The Sugar millers staged a remarkable second -leg campaign that saw them finish eleventh with 43 points after 34 outings. They also emerged third in the GOtv Shield tourney and head coach Salim Babu believes the squad should remain intact for the 2018 season.
"With players it's always a tricky affair especially in the off season.Sometimes you can never tell what will happen next; who will go and who won't.We had the experience last season and we hope this time we can keep the current crop intact for our plans next season", Babu told Futaa.com.
The Awendo-based side will be hoping to keep their speedy forward Benjamin Mosha and Hamisi Abdalla although suitors continue to loom large.
Mosha was instrumental as Sony ran riot over fellow sugar millers Muhoroni Fc thumping them 5-1 where he netted once and provided an assist. He was also in fine form in their last premier league match against champions Gor Mahia where he troubled Kogallo's backline all afternoon.
