South Nyanza Sugar Company (SonySugar) is seeking to fill the position of chief executive.
The post is currently being held in an acting capacity by Benard Otieno.
Mr Otieno was brought in to stand in for Jane Pamela Odhiambo who was sent for a compulsory leave early this year.
Odhiambo was dismissed over alleged theft of sugar worth millions of shillings.
This comes as the miller is facing difficult times ahead as cane shortage and financial distress continue to bite.
“The position calls for high-level maturity and ability to effectively interact and operate at management and Board level to realise SonySugar’s vision,” said Sony’s chairman Ambrose Weda.
“The Board of SonySugar wishes to recruit a qualified experienced, dynamic, visionary, dedicated, innovative and pragmatic leader to fill the position.”
