[Photo| Courtesy]A student who sat for his 2017 KCSE exams in Narok County has committed suicide after receiving his results.Ledama Rono, who schooled at Osinoni Secondary School in Transmara, Narok county, took a chemical used in killing ticks at his Enooretet home after realizing he scored a C minus in the national exams.A family member told Citizen Digital that the 21-year-old was going through frustrations since the release of the results on Tuesday, by Education Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i.According to the family member, Rono felt fellow candidates in the village had "performed better than him" prompting him to commit suicide on Friday night.Rono's case comes few days after another candidate, Carren Ouma, 22, threw herself in a borehole on December 21, in Migori county after scoring a C- in this year's KCSE.
