Parents and Bridge International Academies fraternity have condemned the criticism levied against them by the Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) secretary general Wilson Sossion.

According to them, Sossion said the institution was not committed to improving education standards in the Country.

Addressing the press at one of the schools’ branches in Maili Sita, Bahati in Nakuru, Parents Association national chairman Phillip Origi demanded that Sossion withdraws the statements he made against the school.

“As Bridge school fraternity we want to state here that we adhere to the law but there are some cartels who are not happy and are out to mess our centres. We are appealing to Sossion to withdraw the statement he made against our schools,'' he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Marsabit County Bridge International Parents Association chairperson Hadija Abduba. She said the schools had were on track to ensure quality education by ensuring that the 8-4-4 curriculum is followed to the latter.

She condemned the allegations that Bridge schools were going against the curriculum, adding that subjects done in the schools were as per the Kenyan Curriculum including Swahili as a subject.

“Our teachers are TSC approved and the subjects we offer here are up to the standard required. We are here to ensure quality contrary to what Sossion claimed,'' she said
