Knut chair Wilson Sossion has once again attacked the Education CS Fred Matiang’i of minding business that he should not be concerned about.
Speaking during an interview on NTV, Sossion said Matiang'i has decided to 'harass' school heads by conducting unannounced visits to schools.
He said school investigation exercise is not Matiang'i's duty 'but other people's work.'
He further said teachers should not be jailed because of arson cases in their institutions since their work is to teach and not to be watchmen who keep monitoring at who wants to burn a school.
''When schools are being burnt, we should all know that the teachers have no hand in such things. Society too should not be blamed. It is upon the ministry to check why arson cases are rampant,'' he said on Monday night.
Sossion said Matiang'i wants to put blame on teachers so that he can divert attention.
