Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) secretary general Wilson Sossion is likely to be in the 12th parliament.

This is after his name was included in ODM party nomination list uploaded on IEBC’s website.

Sossion, who had written to all political parties to consider nominating workers in their parties, has welcomed his nomination by Raila Odinga’s party.

The fiery unionist expressed joy after being considered in the list and is now looking forward to get the nomination.

“We wrote to all political parties asking them to nominate workers’ representative to parliament. If ODM has picked me, that I welcome for we shall diligently represent workers,” said Sossion as quoted by Nation.

If nominated to parliament, Sossion will represent the interest of workers.

The Knut boss has been very vocal in fighting for the rights of teachers.
