The company is hoping to install screens inside the Uber vehicles in an effort to boost advertisements.

Hubble sales and commercial director David Taitz confirmed the reports  but did not disclose the a timeline.

“In just one year, we as a company have grown over 700 per cent. Not only have we achieved success in South Africa, but have partnered with Uber in Kenya, Ukraine and Dubai,” Taitz was quoted saying by local press.

Despite reports of the possible partnership Uber is yet to confirm.

“At the moment, we are not partnering with Hubble in Kenya,” said Janet Kemboi, Uber communications associate for East Africa in an email response.

Kenya currently holds the second largest market for Uber with 363,000 active users making it the second largest on the continent.
