Speaking during an interview on NTV on Sunday, Laboso said that South Rift will vote for Jubilee and not NASA as being speculated.

The National Assembly Deputy Speaker termed Ruto’s support for NASA as inconsequential.

“It is laughable to hear some people claim that Bomet and the larger South Rift will vote for the opposition, that is not the case on the ground and Isaac Ruto should prepare for a shocker,” she said.

Laboso said that South Rift people cannot be blinded to vote for NASA.

She said that Jubilee will get all the votes in the region in the August 8 polls The Bomet governor hopeful accused Isaac Ruto of being hungry for power and allegedly neglecting local’s interests.

Isaac Ruto declared support for NASA and has promised to deliver 1.5 Million votes to the alliance.

The governor’s move to support NASA has been criticized by Jubilee Party politicians who claim that he has committed political suicide.

Last week NASA unveiled ODM leader Raila Odinga as the alliance flag bearer to be deputized by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

The Raila-Kalonzo line up is now causing cracks in Ukambani with a section of politicians in the region claiming that they were shortchanged in the NASA deal.
