More than 800 high school principals from Bomet, Narok, Kericho and Nakuru counties on Tuesday gathered at Afraha High School for the selection of Form One students who will join their institutions.
The selection for the four counties in the South Rift region was chaired by Mrs Leah Rotich, the Director General, Ministry of Education.
According to Mrs Rotich, the selection went on well without any hitches.
“We have computerised lists, that we are using thus making the work easy. Every head teacher here will go back with a list of candidates whom they will issue with admission letters,’ explained Mrs Rotich.
The director further revealed that the selection exercise was for extra county and counties school.
The one for national schools was completed mid this month, while for the sub-county schools and polytechnics will be done beginning January 27, at the cub-counties.
