The Kenya African National Union (KANU) Soy Parliamentary seat candidate Jonathan Bii has rejected the constituency's election results in which he lost to the Jubilee candidate Caleb Kositany.

Addressing the press at the Constituency tallying centre in Eldoret town, Thursday, Bii claimed there were massive irregularities in the tallying of the results.

He said he has already contacted his lawyers and will be seeking to move to court with intention of securing a vote recount.

"I have a letter from my lawyer demanding for IEBC officials to provide me with forms 35 A and B but I have been denied access to them and this is why o want to move to court so that the votes can be recounted," Bii said.

"Most of my agents were compromised and my chief agent was arrested and detained by police and at the time he was released voting was almost complete," he added.

Kositany was declared winner for the Soy constituency seat after garnering 34,141 votes high is 46 percent of the cast votes.

Bii had 26,812 which translates to 43 percent of all the votes cast.
