Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany has promised to offer sponsorship to Sharon Chepchumba of Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, after being ranked second in the just-released Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination results.
He said that this was in order and that she has made not only her parents proud but the entire constituency.
“I want to congratulate Sharon Chepchumba for performing exemplary well in KCSE by being the second best students in the entire republic, I am really proud of you and as an administration, we will ensure you pursue whatever course you will undertake in the university,” he said in Eldoret town, Thursday.
“Keep the same spirit, courage, and confidence to face the challenges of life ahead of you. May God bless you with success and abundant happiness. I call upon other students in the constituency to emulate her by putting God first and working hard we want more Chepchumba’s in future,” he said.
This comes after Sharon Chepchumba became position two nationally in the 2017 KCSE results.
