Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi has told opposition leaders to keep off politics of insults and propaganda against Jubilee administration.
The ODM rebel urged opposition leaders to engage the government in sober campaigns based on development agenda.
"Criticism politics will not give opposition a win in the coming elections. The leaders should instead encourage their supporters to register as voters and vote for them in the August elections," said Maangi.
"Each and every time I hear opposition leaders accusing Jubilee government of failing Kenyans more especially in corruption," he added.
Maangi further said: " It is evident that they have sensed defeat and this could be the reason they are spreading false information to the general public," he said adding that no public money had lost under Jubilee regime."
He challenged Gusii community to back Jubilee Party in August elections.
Maangi was speaking at at Machoge Bassi ward on Tuesday evening and was accompanied by a host of Kisii County assembly members.
