Nakuru County Assembly Leader of Majority Samuel Waithuki has been accused of being a project for Nakuru County Speaker Susan Kihika.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, Visoi MCA Gitau Kamau accused Susan Kihika of using the resources of the Nakuru County in funding county representatives who are all allied to Samuel Waithuki.
“I have enough evidence to prove that Waithuki Camp is buying MCAs with Sh3,000 so that they can all support him to get his job back,” said Kamau.
“We want the court to arrest Speaker Kihika for going against a court order from the Political Party Triubinal that recently reinstated George Mwaura as the leader of Majority of Nakuru County Assembly,” he added.
Kamau went ahead and said that the County Assembly of Nakuru was at the moment torn into two groups, with one group supporting Mwaura and the other group supporting Waithuki.
“We have been forced to go back to the court so as we can get directions after Speaker Susan Kihika failed to go ahead and reinstate Mwaura as the real majority leader. This is the main reason as to why the house is divided into two groups,” he added.
Kamau further said that the speaker was supporting Waithuki since it was hard for her to manipulate Mwaura into misusing public funds.
He went ahead and told the press that at the moment, the Mwaura Camp was in Naivasha having a retreat so as to strategise on their next move.
