Kisii county assembly speaker Okerosi Ondieki has said all county MCAs are behind the current governor James Ongwae until 2022.
According to Okerosi, there is a need for all county residents and leaders to work with the current governor to foster development across the county.
Speaking during the celebration of Mashujaa Day at Gusii stadium on Thursday, Ondieki noted that county MCAs are behind Governor Ongwae and his reelection in 2017.
“We don’t need to divide our residents politically let us support the current governor to promote development in this county,” noted Ondieki.
His sentiments were echoed by Kisii county majority leader Protus Moindi and Kisii Central MCA Wilfred Monyenye who graced the event and said Ongwae should be supported to complete his projects that he initiated in the county.
Monyenye also hailed Ongwae for initiating projects in his ward and said he supports him 100 percent in his reelection bid.
