This follows a report released this week by the Controller of Budget who questioned usage of Sh63 million by the assembly for tea in the financial year 2015/16.

Speaking to the reporter on Friday, Nyamoko dismissed findings of the report and accused Geni of allegedly bribing reporters to taint his name.

“I can assure you there is no single cent lost and what you are seeing is just but well-orchestrated political games to bring me down which may not succeed anyway,” he said.

“Geni has been desperate and I am aware he called the reporter and paid them just to taint my name. Even the Controller of budge knows how money is spent and audited,” he added.

However, in a quick rejoinder, Geni has since refuted the claims and challenged Nyamoko to carry responsibility.

“I am not the one who revealed how our money is lost. He knows what took place and time has come for his to carry personal responsibility,” he said.

The two Nyamira politicians will battle for North Mugirango parliamentary race in 2017 polls.
