The newly launched Jubilee Party on Friday held its first National Governing Council where it unveiled its team that will spearhead campaigns in various regions across the country as the 2017 elections beckon.
With an eye cast on slicing a piece of the voting bloc in opposition strongholds, the NGC meeting was held at the Bomas of Kenya, Nairobi where it unveiled the men and women who will be its key pointmen in its campaigns.
The meeting was chaired by party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy party leader DP William Ruto.
In Nyamira County, Speaker Joash Nyamoko, East Africa Legislative Assembly member Joseph Kiangoi, Jomo Kenyatta Foundation chair Walter Nyambati will be the key men in Jubilee’s campaigns.
