Nyamira deputy Speaker Andrew Magangi has noted that come 2017, all elected leaders will have a hard time retaining their seats unless their development records read otherwise.
Speaking during Nyamira county's 4th devolution conference on Wednesday at Manga stadium, Magangi asked the county executive to implement projects that have been passed by the county assembly stating they are being blamed yet they pass bills in time.
"We pass bills but the implementation is delayed by the executive. I ask the executive to hasten in implementing projects and complete them in time to give us a reason to go back to our people," said Magangi.
Nyamira Senator hopeful Nyambega Mose echoed Magangi's sentiments by saying elected leaders would only be favoured if their track record is commendable.
"Nyamira county executive has been blamed for delaying projects even after the money is released for the same, the electorate is watching on your index and most will fail the test,"said Mose.
