A debate on the impeachment of Nairobi governor Evans Kidero was on Wednesday suspended by speaker Alex ole Magelo.
This is after KIdero secured a court order barring the assembly from discussing the motion until further notice.
"I wish to give directions that order number eight (the motion) as it appears on today's order paper be suspended at the stage it is, to await further directions as the assembly responds to the application," said Magelo.
On Tuesday, the motion failed to kick off after MCAs absconded the session leading to a lack of quorum.
The court order barred the assembly from discussing the Auditor General reports and allegations on Kidero of violating the principle of public finance management.
