Kihika says that politicking is at the expense of development and service delivery to the citizens.

The speaker who was speaking at Afraha Stadium during the Mashujaa Day celebrations said that all the residents of Nakuru County should be served transparently and without discrimination.

“Let us not always be politicking day after another. When will we bring development to the people of this county?” Kihika asked.

The speaker has asked the leaders to shun witch-hunting and baseless politics.

“As leaders we have to be accountable to the people of Nakuru. As speaker of this county I have to tell the people what I have done for them before I can go telling them about the shortcomings of another leader. This is the only way to move forward otherwise the blame game of who has not done what will remain,” added Kihika.

She asked the leaders to stop discriminating their colleagues on the basis of where they come from saying that everyone is a Kenyan and should be left to do their work wherever they are.
