Teya said the assembly will go on with its sessions in the absence of Nyagarama.

"Those claiming that the absence of Nyagarama from the county will derail service delivery are day dreaming and idlers who should be ignored.

"The MCAs and other county workers should focus on serving the people while the governor is away in hospital,” he said.

He called on elected MPs from the county to ensure they offer the necessary support to the Deputy Governor who has taken over from the county boss.

“MPs from the county should support the deputy governor in discharging his duties on behalf of the ailing governor.

"Criticism won’t work since we are committed to ensure Nyagarama’s manifesto is taken to high levels as promised,” he said.

Nyagarama is currently in US where is undergoing treatment over failing limbs, a condition that has literally affected his walking.
