According to the Christian traditions, the celebrations begin on the Good Friday when Jesus Christ was crucified and extends two days into Sunday during Christ's resurrection culminating into Easter Monday.

1.Lake Nakuru National Park 

Situated only four kilometres from Nakuru town, Lake Nakuru National Park is sure to provide you with a breathtaking scenery, teeming with beautiful flora and fauna. Just like its cousin Lake Nakuru, LakeNaivasha is equally blessed with an astounding flora and fauna. And ooh, its fresh water features will guarantee you a sumptuous meal of fresh fish at an embarrassingly cheap cost.

3. Subukia Shrine 

Commonly known as the Village of Mary the mother of Jesus, this site is highly recommended for those who seek some solemn moments with Christ. This historic site is commonly used by the Catholic faithful for pilgrimage. There is a hill that characterises the holy journey and it has some 14 stations  known as 'The Way of the Cross', where you will have to stop and recite prayers. Remember to carry a container to draw cool waters oozing from the hill which is believed to have some healing abilities.
