Speculations have started renting the air after ODM Deputy Party Leader, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho skipped a second party meeting in a row.
The Raila Odinga-led party held its National Executive Council (NEC) retreat at the Lake Elementaita Lodge on Tuesday, but Joho was not present.
2nd Deputy Party Leader Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya was however among leaders present.
This has raised speculations among Joho's supporters, after he also skipped ODM's meeting of the Central Committee of the party at Orange House in Nairobi on May 4.
The Central Committee is the highest decision-making organ of the party.
A section of Joho-supporters asked why Joho was missing in the meeting chaired by Odinga, saying:
