Grief hit Olenguruone, Kuresoi South sub-county after a speeding probox driving along Olenguruone-Kiptagich lost control and run over two girls aged 8 and 13 years to death.

Confirming the incident, Kiptaragon chief Samwel Lang'at said the girls who are siblings were confirmed death upon arrival at the Olenguruone sub-county hospital.

He said the girls were heading home when the incident occured at 6pm. 

He called on motorists to be cautious while approaching such sections to avert further deaths.

The bodies of the two were taken to Olenguruone sub-county hospital mortuary.
