Spiritual leaders of Kisii catholic church have congratulated the president and his deputy following the withdrawal of ICC cases at The Hague.
Speaking today at a church service, Fr George Odhiambo said the two have shown good leadership skills for dedicating their achievements to God.
“I want to congratulate the two for the success on the cases against them at The Hague. They showed a sign of humility and patience and depended on God," he said.
He further went ahead saying we should give credit where it is due and stop criticising every action including developments.
“Let us always pray for our leaders as they lead this country that they do so with the wisdom and knowledge that comes from the Lord,” he said.
Sister Mary Wamboi also congratulated the two and asked them to foster peace and unity in the country as they head towards the 2017 polls.
“The president and his deputy should continue preaching love and peace at all times to the people of Kenya," said Wamboi.
"We are one people one nation. Peace begins here with us, let's extend love everywhere we go," she added.
