The sportpesa-sponsored tournament, 'Sportpesa Super Cup' is set to begin, today, Sunday at the Afraha Stadium, in Nakuru.
It had first been scheduled to be held at Moi Kasarani Stadium before it was changed to the Nakuru-based ground.
This will be the second time the competition is being held after it made its debut last year in Dar-es-Salaam.
The tournament features teams from Kenya and Tanzania, with AFC Leopards, Kakamega Homeboyz, Kariobangi Sharks and Gor Mahia representing Kenya while Singida United, JKU Sports Club, Yanga and Simba will represent Tanzania.
The winner of the tournament will not only earn Sh3 million in prize money and a trophy but also an opportunity to travel to England to face English Premiership side Everton in a friendly match at their Goodison Park ground.

The semifinals will be played on June 7, 2018, while the third place playoff and final have both been slated for June 10, 2018, in Nakuru.
Gor Mahia will face a tough challenge as they set off to defend the title they won last year in Dar es Salaam after downing AFC Leopards 3-0.
