Chogoria Boys High School is in the spotlight after a newcomer complained that he had been sodomised in the toilet. Mary Omari, Tharaka Nithi County Boss, confirmed the incident and said that investigations into the shocking allegations had been launched.''I can assure the public that investigations are ongoing to establish the facts,'' she told the media yesterday.The assaulted boy could not identify his assailants only saying that they were students in the school.Mbwiria Nkonge, Chogoria Boys High School Principal, rebuffed the allegations.According to him, the boy's allegations could have been manufactured so as to persuade his parents to take him to another school.''He says he was assaulted on Wednesday night but reported the incident on Thursday afternoon,'' Mr. Nkonge told the media.
