Students of St Andrews Kaggwa will be at home until Monday as the school starts investigating the bizarre fire that has left parents, teachers, and other stakeholders in shock after a class four dormitory was set on fire.

The incident happened at around 3:30pm on Tuesday when stakeholders were in a meeting.

The incident was more of a drama than a reality after student’s screamed forcing top management of the school to cut short their day-long meeting to put off the fire in another dormitory housing class four pupils.

The school head teacher Mr Joseph Nyacheo raised concern on the cause of fires that are threatening to finish Nyamura’s top performing school.

The head teacher said that since he joined the school, the school has been doing well both academically and infrastructures.

To him, the cause of the incident has not been established.

The Borabu Sub-county deputy director of education Cosmas Wanjala ordered the school to remain closed until Monday for the safety of students.

He further said that investigation has been launched  to establish the cause of the fire incidents.
