The row over management of St Mary's Hospital Langata took a different twist after a judge denied ordering the forceful eviction of workers from the facility.
Nakuru's Justice Silah Munyao of the Environment and Lands Court on Wednesday said he only allowed the Assumption Sisters Catholic nuns to forcibly gain entry into the facility but no eviction was ordered.
In November 2017, the judge issued the orders after the sisters successfully filed a court application seeking to take over the hospital.
"I have not issued an order of eviction. What I have and what the court allowed was an application to break in, issued on November 23,” said the judge.
