National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has urged the North Eastern region to stand with Jubilee in the coming elections saying that the Jubilee administration has helped transform the region.
Speaking on Saturday during a fundraiser at Ademasaajida in Wajir, Mr Duale said that the government had brought roads and hospitals to the region, something that should make the electorate re-elect the president if they wanted more.
"The Jubilee government has given us free hospitals, access roads, jobs not meaningless pledges," he said.
He asked the region to hold Jubilee accountable over the last four years, saying that the historical injustices meted on the people of North Eastern by former regimes were not to be considered in Jubilee’s scorecard.
"Ask us what we haven't done, not what wasn't being done decades ago. This government will be inclusive and irrespective of party affiliations," he added.
