The team is in dire need of finance in order for it to continue honouring Kenya Women Premier League (WPL) matches.

The team previously referred to as Palos Ladies FC changed its name to Kisumu All Starlets after previous sponsors – Makini Schools pulled out due to financial constraints.

The team is currently being run by the Kisumu Youth Football Association (KYFA).

“Kisumu All Starlets formerly Palos Ladies FC needs your support now than ever. These talented ladies playing in the women Kenya Premier League do not have a sponsor. The coaches, TM and team doctor are all volunteers,” reads a post on KYFA’s facebook page.

“Your small contribution will go a long way in helping these young, beautiful, talented and motivated ladies realize their personal football dreams as well as market our city and county. Your contribution will help these ladies honor their away fixtures, take care of their basic needs and keep the coaches motivated. Kindly make your donation through M-pesa Paybill number 218543. God Bless You,” adds the post.

Kisumu All Starlets is 10th on the WPL-16-team table with 13 points after 11 rounds of matches.

The team next plays league leaders Thika Queens at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, on Saturday.
