The matches were initially advertised to be played at Kasarani.

The Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani and the Nyayo National Stadium have been been closed for renovation ahead of the  2018.

Kenya is set to play the Uganda Cranes on Thursday March 23 before taking on the Leopards of Congo three on Sunday on March 26, 2017.

Both matches will start at 3 pm (EAT) with the visiting teams arriving in the country on March 20.

“The two international friendly matches pitting Kenya’s Harambee Stars against Uganda and DRC Congo have been moved from Kasarani Stadium to Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

“The move has been necessitated by ongoing renovations at both Nyayo and Kasarani Stadiums,” the statement from FKF website read in part.
