Harambee Stars have qualified to the finals of the Cecafa Senior Cup after edging out Burundi 1-0 in a semifinal match staged at Moi Stadium Kisumu on Thursday.

Stars' goal was netted by AFC Leopards midfielder Whyvonne Isuza in the extra time. 

The Kenyan side began the match on a slow pace, easily losing the ball to a blunt striking force in the first half that ended on a barren stalemate.

They however picked momentum in the second half and Isuza's goal offered them another chance to whet their attack ahead of the finals. 

Kenya will now face the winner of the second semifinal match between defending champions Uganda Cranes and Zanzibar's Heroes.
