Kenya national team Harambee Stars has been invited to take part in this year's edition of the genocide memorial cup to be held in Kigali, Rwanda.
Twelve other countries have been invited to take part in the tournament that will take place from Thursday 1 to Sunday 4th June.
The first edition was held in 2015 with four teams including hosts Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan and Tanzania playing in a round-Robin format.
Among those, only Kenya has been invited alongside Morocco, Guinea Conakry, Equatorial Guinea, Togo, Congo Brazzaville, Libya, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Gabon, Liberia, Ghana and Nigeria.
The Rwandan FA organizes the tournament in memory of the over 70 players, coaches and football officials who were butchered during the deadly 1994 Genocide.
