The residents claimed the MP has not initiated any development project in constituency since he was elected to Parliament in 2013.

On Wednesday, the residents protested over the poor Nyamusi–Mawagwa Road.

Led by George Bosire, they called on Gen to initiate various projects in the constituency as soon as possible, failure to which they vowed to march to the National Parliament in Nairobi to air their grievances.

“We have no otherwise and we've decided as the electorate to visit our MP in Parliament through demonstrations to air our grievances on development. We have no standard health facility in our constituency, no roads, water among others,” Bosire told journalists on Wednesday.

“We don’t know the work of our MP. We will demonstrate to Nairobi so that he can initiate development projects and if he doesn’t know what projects mean to us, we will tell him,” added Job Nyakundi, another resident.
