NASA MPs have accused the Government of using state agencies to intimidate Opposition leaders. The lawmakers cited the recent summon of Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga by National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), accusing the State of selective application of the law in its crackdown on hate mongers."It is emerging that there is selective application of the law targeting NASA leaders. It was the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and now NCIC. It is evident NCIC is up to something," said ODM chairman John Mbadi.Francis Ole Kaparo, the NCIC chairperson, recently summoned Wanga for linking President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto to the spread of cholera while making a speech on September 25.Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo criticised NCIC for concluding that Wanga disobeyed summons."The MP had sent her lawyers to represent her before the commission. The Kaparo-led team should not be prejudiced," Amollo stated.
