Among the equipments issued include; sewing machines, salon equipments, wielding machines among others worth Sh1.7 million.
The event took place at Uhuru Gardens in Nyamira and was presided over County commissioner Isaiah Nakoru and an official for disabled people Julia Ojiambo.
Ojiambo urged beneficiaries to make use of the tools to earn a living.
“The tools will help you open up your own businesses to earn a living and feed your families,” she said.
She assured that more people will benefit from the program.
“Every disabled person should expose his or her talent and get relevant training before the government issues out working tools and equipment," she added.
