State House Director of Digital Communications Denis Itumbi has defended National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale over remarks contained in a viral video that resurfaced online earlier this week.

Itumbi dismissed the video terming it as malice orchestrated by the legislator's critics.

"This is the only response you will get from me on the POORLY crafted PROPAGANDA clip targeting @HonAdenDuale Next attempt?" read a post on his social media timeline.

In the video, the MP is alleged to have called on local Garissa youths to evict non locals from the constituency so as to prevent them from registering as voters ahead of the 2017 general election.
