State House has bowed to pressure and apologised over an error by the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU).
This is after the official Twitter account of the PSCU on Tuesday morning caused a stir on social media over Layer Donald Kipkorir.
He complained of encroachment of Karen by matatus, secondhand cloth vendors and numerous kiosks.
PSCU had tweeted criticising the city lawyer Donald Kipkorir after he complained about the fading status of Karen area, Nairobi.
The media team then tweeted a photo and message to the effect that Kipkorir was a 'slay queen lawyer' on handouts from the NASA team.
"Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kipkorir moves on from Canaan trip with Sh400, 000 Italian suit," they said in a tweet that has since been deleted.

The post elicited mixed reactions as Kenyans showed displeasure with the way the official account was being handled:
This compelled PSCU to pull down the tweet and post an apology.
"We apologize for a tweet that appeared on our timeline. We agree it was inappropriate. It has been deleted. Thanks for pointing it out. Administrative action has been taken," read the tweet.
