State House on Sunday declined to issue a statement on a controversial recording linking National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale to hate speech.
State House spokesperson Manoah Esipisu said that he could not comment on the matter as he had no information on it.
Esipisu said that the matter was still under investigations something that barred him from commenting.
In the recording, a voice alleged to of Duale is heard calling for use of force against the Kamba community residing in Garissa.
Duale who has since recorded a statement with the authorities has distanced himself the clipalleging that his political opponents are behind it.
