The government has constituted a special police unit that would be responsible for crackdown against top NASA leaders linked to controversial oath of Raila Odinga, reports the Sunday Nation.
A team of at least 20 police officers mainly picked from Flying Squad, Crime Prevention Unit and elements of Anti-Terrorism Police is involved the in mission.
The secret team, reports the Nation, would get search warrants for the politicians in question to not only raid their houses but also cynically cause damage.
"We have mapped out Nairobi homes for key people we are targeting for arrest. We have also been studying their house plans to guide us when there is a raid," a police source said.
He added: "The idea is that these people should not live in comfort while causing trouble in our country."
Last week, the secret team while highly involved in arresting and deportation of NASA politician Miguna Miguna.
In an interview with the media, Miguna identified Said Kiprotich of Flying Squad as one of the officers who planned and executed his arrest.
