State House Spokesperson Manoah Esipisu has dismissed claims by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and his Kilifi counterpart Amason Kingi that the Jubilee administration has not initiated any new projects in the Coast region.
In a statement on Sunday, Esipisu affirmed that the Jubilee Government is committed to implementing its 2013 manifesto across the country including the Coastal region.
"Jubilee's development credentials in the region are clear for everyone to see and no amount of juvenile tantrums from any quarters would negate the improved service delivery to the Coastal region," he said.
Last week, Joho and Kingi accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of commissioning projects started by previous administrations, challenging Jubilee to showcase new projects started in the past four years.
