Presidential Strategic Communications Unit(PSCU) director Dennis Itumbi has responded to the recent arrest of Kilimani area chief, Patrick Adira after Citizen TV aired an interview in which the extremely poor condition of his office.
Through his Facebook page, Itumbi acknowledged that the government official has been working from a very shameful structure.
"That is obvious from everyone who sees the structure on that road," Itumbi said.
Adira has been operating from an iron sheet structure that was put up in 2001 with the Coat of Arms held together by pieces of cardboard.
According to Itumbi, it was not a crime for the chief to allow filming of his office even as many suspected it was a consequence of the TV interview.
"So many of you are asking, why was the chief arrested for granting an interview to CitizenTV. I will try and get the facts," he stated.
He also conquered that is would be unfair if the arrest of the chief was motivated by the interview.
