His remark comes after claims that area residents were terrorised on Friday night by unknown people.

Bogichora ward MCA Beuttah Omanga has urged the government to improve security in the area to contain the situation.

“There is an increase in insecurity in Mabundu, Sironga, Marindi in Bogichora ward and I call upon the government to deploy more police officers in the area to address the matter,” Omanga told journalists in Nyamira town on Sunday.

“Our residents have lost their properties in the recent days because of insecurity, let the government save us,” he added.
