Chania Ward MCA Ng'ang'a Muthua has urged National Government to work in harmony with other partners to enhance security.
Speaking at Gatei Village on Wednesday, during a burial service of Hannah Nduta a student who was killed in Garissa University attack, Muthua challenged the government to stop taking security matters lightly.
"It is high time for National Government to stop rubbishing the intelligence provided to them by partner states. We have seen the consequences of ignoring their tips,” said Muthua.
Muthua said that poor intelligence gathering by the National Intelligence Service (NIS) has also cost Kenya.
“Majority of planners and perpetrators of these attacks are said to be here in Kenya but the NIS has failed to identify this people,” says Muthua.
