Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders has closely followed the elections in Kenya and the nullification of the results of the presidential election by the Supreme Court due to irregularities in the electoral process.
This decision bears witness to the independence of the judiciary and the state of democracy in Kenya.
Minister Reynders hopes that the new presidential poll scheduled for 17th October will be held in a transparent, credible and inclusive way.
He calls upon all actors to use their influence to make sure that this process takes place in all serenity.
