Key among these are innuendoes, misinformation, and propaganda apparently emanating from the embattled, panicked and desperate Jubilee Regime.We are aware that Jubilee, whose era has reached its sunset, is desperate for legitimacy.In recent days, Jubilee has resorted to fabricating lies in its vain attempt to portray to gullible Kenyans non-existent divisions in National Super Alliance (NASA). The most recent attempt has been through a forged letter that has been circulating in social media.
The said “letter” appeared to insinuate that WDM-K had distanced itself from our sister parties – the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), the Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford-Kenya – pertaining to the ongoing efforts by NASA towards the formation of a People’s Assembly to champin for democratic reforms.In its warped thinking, Jubilee still believes that the divide-and-rule tactics that used to work during the yesteryears, can still work today. By claiming that the People’s Assembly was the brainchild of ODM, Jubilee hoped to sow divisions between ODM and WDMK as well as our other NASA partner parties.Apparently, the nefarious plan by Jubilee involves misuse of Ukambani political rejects who were soundly defeated in the August 8th General Election, where those “rejects” will portray ODM and its leadership as a party that thrives on violence. Loudly, the self-seekers will then proclaim that Kambas should shift their allegiance to Uhuru and Jubilee. We wish to caution that, whereas these tricks may have worked in the past, they have absolutely no probability of success this time. We can see through Jubilee’s tricks. They are bound to fail terribly!Quite tellingly, these tricks come after Jubilee’s attempts to buy off the support and loyalty of various NASA regions hit a brick wall. Apparently, the Jubilee Regime thought that by compromising leaders who were rejected on October 26th, they would easily get support from NASA regions. It did not work.The same Jubilee has been sowing seeds of discord by claiming that WDM-K was getting a raw deal in NASA. How does WDMK get a raw deal when we have not even started reaping the fruits of democracy and good governance in Kenya? What is there to share when we are still pursuing the goal of redeeming Kenyans from the despotic Jubilee regime?We wish to assure our supporters, the NASA fraternity, and Kenyans in general, that WDM-K is fully part and parcel of the unstoppable National Resistance Movement (NRM), which aims at stopping an increasingly insensitive and despotic Jubilee Regime. We offer our total support to our leaders, the Right Hon. Raila Odinga and H.E. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka. And, as NASA, we are inseparable.As we speak now, the Notice of Motion to form the People’s Assembly is already at our Counties of Makueni, Kitui and Machakos. The Motion is scheduled to be debated on Tuesday.We also want the country to know that, as WDMK strongly support the formation of an interim government comprising Jubilee and NASA. It is our considered opinion that this government should exist for six months or more, so as to allow for all the necessary reforms needed for free, fair, credible and transparent elections.We wish to urge all Kenyans of goodwill to relentlessly and tirelessly support NASA in its endeavor to save Kenya from the shackles of dictatorship, corruption, tribalism, and cronyism – ills that have bedeviled our country for the past 54 years.For us in WDMK, and for NASA in general, we will pursue with absolute determination our goal of removing Jubilee from power through constitutional and legal means.
