Gem MP, Jakoyo Midiwo has been warned against interfering with the Siaya gubernatorial seat.
The MP was given this stern warning by Five Alego-Usonga MCAs ho said that by interefering with the race, he was only going to divide the people.
The MCAs, Leonard Oriaro (Central Alego), Peter Muhula (West Alego), Joshua Osuru (South East Alego), James Otare (Siaya Township), and Sylvester Madialo (Usonga) said that Wetangula should let the people of Siaya decide who they want as governor instead of candidates being forced down their throats.
The leaders also attacked the MP on his various corruption claims against the area governor, Cornel Rasanga yet he has no evidence to support his accusations.
"The governor understands his role in office. That is why since Midiwo started claiming that there is misuse of county resources, Rasanga has never been found guilty," said Oriaro.
The MCAs urged Midiwo not to be used as a pawn by other leaders who wanted to vie for the seat in next year’s General Election.
