Kiambu County Police commander Peter Ng’etich has warned residents against involving in unlawful acts even as they celebrate Easter.
Briefing the media at his office on Thursday, Ng’etich said that police will not hesitate to arrest law breakers.
He asked residents to observe law and order as they celebrate Easter holidays.
“We want to ask Kiambu residents to shun unlawful acts even as they celebrate Easter,” he said.
The Police boss said that the county is working on modalities that will guarantee security of residents.
He urged residents to support the police as they implement government directives on security.
The police urged the locals to embrace Nyumba Kumi and help fight criminals. Ng’etich asked Kiambu leaders to support the police in the fight against crime.
He also cautioned leaders especially politicians against inflammatory remarks that could disrupt peace.
