Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi is the latest one to support president's call for resignation of the public officers who are alleged to be corrupt in the EACC report that was handed to president Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking to the press in Kisii town, Maangi called upon the suspects to resign and pave way for investigations. "All of us must support president Uhuru for the fight against corruption, which is the gretest obstacle towards development.

When you have been linked with corruption it does mean you are guilty, just step aside and you will be vindicated if you will be found clean," DG said.

Kisii Senator Chris Obure and Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka, are among the alleged persons. In the presindent's last week address to the joint assembly on the state of the nation, he called upon all individuals in the anti-graft report to step aside and give room for investigations.

So far four ministers and other officers among them corporations Bosses have stepped down.
