Parents who are not taking their children to school despite them attaining the school-going age have been put on notice by the Uasin Gishu County Commissioner Abdi Hassan.''Parents who are not taking their children to school are committing an offence and should be arrested and arraigned in court. Every child has a right to education. We will not allow children to continue roaming our streets yet they have attained the school-going age,'' Abdi Hassan said yesterday in Eldoret.The Uasin Gishu County Commissioner revealed that a crackdown was already underway to target parents abdicating on this responsibility.
